Project overview

Join the development of an innovative Intelligent Itinerary Management System (IIMS), a cutting-edge travel content automation platform. The system leverages AI-powered microservices to transform unstructured travel data into structured, enriched insights—enhancing automation, consistency, and data quality for complex travel itineraries.

Position overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Generative AI / Machine Learning Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of core Python microservices. Your work will focus on building AI-powered services that extract, enrich, compare, and visualize travel itinerary data using state-of-the-art LLMs, AWS cloud technologies, and DevOps methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement asynchronous extraction pipelines utilizing vision-capable LLMs (e.g., GPT-4 series) for processing PDF, DOCX, and TXT travel files
  • Develop content enrichment microservices to generate market-ready travel descriptions
  • Build matching and disambiguation services linking extracted itinerary elements to a PostgreSQL catalog using fuzzy search and LLM-driven logic
  • Create itinerary comparison APIs providing structured summaries of differences between versions
  • Containerize applications with Docker and contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup on AWS
  • Lead research and optimization of prompt engineering and LLM selection to balance cost, speed, and accuracy
  • Collaborate on scalable, resilient microservice architectures and contribute to documentation and testing
  • Prototype innovative features such as AI-powered video generation for travel content

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python (3.10+), including asynchronous programming (asyncio)
  • Hands-on experience with Large Language Models integration, prompt engineering, and LLM APIs such as Chat Completions and Assistants/File APIs
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM) and preferably Amazon Bedrock or Amazon Nova
  • Solid understanding of containerization with Docker and deploying microservices
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Flask
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and fuzzy search extensions (pg_trgm)
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar)
  • Experience processing unstructured data and working with NLP techniques

Nice to have

  • Experience with multimodal models, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK)
