Senior Software Engineer - Investment Management - C#

Interested in building applications that power trading and research for a leading investment management firm?

In this role, you'll lead the architecture and development of business-critical front office applications, interacting with users and other tech teams to design, implement, deliver and support these applications. You'll also provide mentorship to junior developers and stay current with emerging technologies in the financial markets space.

Ideally, you bring over seven years of engineering experience in C#, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Python for scripting. You're comfortable with modern software frameworks, design patterns, and CI/CD, having worked in both on-prem and cloud environments. Experience in financial markets and an understanding of trading systems/front office operations will be crucial for success in this position.

Tech stack includes .NET/.NET Framework, along with modern tools like Angular, Python (scripting for data analysis), Docker, and Kubernetes.

This is a full-time, hybrid position in Toronto. Compensation depends on experience, expectations, location, and qualifications/training, though is generally $130k-$150k base plus 10-15% bonus.
