Talentvis is looking for a seasoned and experienced HR Manager for its client in the telecommunications industry.



Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll & Compliance
  • Ensure timely and accurate end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Prepare and submit statutory contributions such as CPF, and tax filings including Auto-Inclusion Scheme (IR8A).
  • Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including the preparation of employment contracts, conducting orientation sessions, and organizing exit interviews.
  • Handle work pass matters such as application, renewal, and related medical arrangements.
  • Performance & Talent Management
  • Coordinate performance appraisal cycles and work closely with department leaders on workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning strategies.
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Analyse compensation and benefits trends to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Administer and review corporate and staff insurance plans for adequate coverage and cost-effectiveness.
  • Employee Engagement & Relations
  • Lead employee engagement and well-being initiatives.
  • Address and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary issues promptly and fairly.
  • Training & Development
  • Administer training grants and claims submissions to relevant government agencies/statutory bodies.
  • HR Operations & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records.
  • Prepare HR reports and conduct data analysis to support strategic business decisions.
  • Supervise the submission of government surveys, HR analytics, and market studies.
  • Policy & Compliance
  • Implement HR policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Other Duties
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors or management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 20 years of experience in Human Resources, with broad exposure across key HR functions.
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
  • Sound knowledge of local employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Familiarity with HR systems, particularly Frontier eHR, is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proactive, capable of multitasking, and a resourceful problem solver.
