Talentvis is looking for a seasoned and experienced HR Manager for its client in the telecommunications industry.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate end-to-end payroll processing.
- Prepare and submit statutory contributions such as CPF, and tax filings including Auto-Inclusion Scheme (IR8A).
- Employee Lifecycle Management
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including the preparation of employment contracts, conducting orientation sessions, and organizing exit interviews.
- Handle work pass matters such as application, renewal, and related medical arrangements.
- Performance & Talent Management
- Coordinate performance appraisal cycles and work closely with department leaders on workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning strategies.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Analyse compensation and benefits trends to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Administer and review corporate and staff insurance plans for adequate coverage and cost-effectiveness.
- Employee Engagement & Relations
- Lead employee engagement and well-being initiatives.
- Address and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary issues promptly and fairly.
- Training & Development
- Administer training grants and claims submissions to relevant government agencies/statutory bodies.
- HR Operations & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records.
- Prepare HR reports and conduct data analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Supervise the submission of government surveys, HR analytics, and market studies.
- Policy & Compliance
- Implement HR policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Other Duties
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors or management.
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of experience in Human Resources, with broad exposure across key HR functions.
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
- Sound knowledge of local employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Familiarity with HR systems, particularly Frontier eHR, is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proactive, capable of multitasking, and a resourceful problem solver.
