We have an urgent requirement for Red Hat OpenStack & Cloud Administration - KVM, HPE 3PAR, IBM to work in G-Cloud is required for one of our banking client in Oman

Strong Experience of G-Cloud using Red Hat OpenStack, to apply for this role

Strong experience in cloud orchestration, cloud platforms and middleware is a Must to apply for this role

Strong experience in Linux/UNIX & Windows Server System Administration is MUST

Strong experience in Virtualization & Storage Management (KVM, HPE 3PAR, IBM) is MUST

Strong experience in Zabbix, Red Hat Satellite, WSUS is MUST

Advanced knowledge and working experience in cloud administration and middleware

  • Working experience with Red hat Openstack
  • Systems administration: MS Windows Server OS and other OS environments such as UNIX / LINUX
  • Working knowledge of server hardware (RAID, clustering, virtualization)
  • Working knowledge of KVM management
  • Working knowledge with IBM and 3par Storage Systems
  • Working knowledge of disaster recovery and replication
  • Working knowledge of Zabbix monitoring System and Redhat Satellite.
  • Knowledge and experience in network security concepts, technologies and standards
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol, DHCP, DNS
  • Set up, configures, customizes and administers G-cloud in Redhat Openstack
  • Sets up, configures, customizes and administers high end operating systems environments (UNIX / LINUX, Windows Server)
  • Manage Virtual Machines (VMs) in Openstack and KVM
  • Manage and configure HPE 3par and Cisco Physical servers and needed connectivity
  • Manage IBM and 3par Storage Systems and perform zoning between San and Servers
  • Manage Zabbix, Redhat Satellite and WSUS systems
  • Applies OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis
  • Performs root cause analysis and resolves Operating Systems incidents and problems
  • Conducts performance tuning and resource optimization as required
  • Identifies, researches and recommends enhancements and upgrades to the existing Operating systems and virtual environment
  • Understands and contributes to capacity planning, disaster recovery and high availability planning of operating Systems
  • Ensures optimal performance of Operating Systems across multiple end user environments
  • Maintains functional documentation and user manual
