SENIOR ML ENGINEER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior ML Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a global collective of healthcare marketing agencies specializing in creating innovative marketing solutions for the healthcare industry. The company, based in New York, harnesses creativity, technology, science, and data to develop communications that improve health outcomes for audiences worldwide. With operations across six continents and numerous specialized units, they provide integrated marketing and communication services to pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and various life science organizations. The company offers expertise in medical marketing, healthcare communications, and strategic brand development, utilizing both B2B and B2C approaches.

The project is related to a part of the main client’s software-based advisory services that enable pharmaceutical, biotech, and life science companies to tackle complex issues beyond traditional marketing communications and uncover innovative areas for competitive advantage and growth. It’s proprietary software platforms that help clients view challenges from new perspectives and unlock real-world data, driving real-world outcomes. The agency is comprised of a diverse team of solution architects—social scientists, experience engineers, medical experts, business strategists, and creative technical designers—who explore the inner workings of problems and help clients visualize unexpected connections, making informed decisions that drive impact and change the trajectory of patient healthcare.

The client requires an ML-focused engineer with hands-on experience in re-platforming Azure ML Studio pipelines into Databricks workflows/jobs, refactoring code for Spark optimization, and integrating with MLflow for experiment tracking.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data/ML engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of Python & PySpark.
• Solid knowledge of Azure.
• Solid experience with Azure Databricks (workflows/jobs).
• Proven track record with REST API integrations (for the ingestion roles).
• Good communication in English for clear documentation & collaboration.

• Provide ML pipeline migration & optimization.
