Senior Product Manager

Proclinical is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the commercial strategy for a preclinical product. In this role, you will collaborate with R&D, commercial teams, and user communities to define product requirements, develop roadmaps, and execute go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine the product roadmap based on customer needs, commercial goals, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and commercial teams to align development priorities with scientific and business objectives.
• Provide feedback on product usability and interface design to enhance user experience.
• Assess market opportunities and define impactful product features for preclinical research.
• Partner with regulatory and operations teams to ensure smooth product delivery and compliance.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback and performance data to drive continuous improvements.
• Conduct user interviews to refine product usability and adoption strategies.
• Engage with scientific and research communities to gather insights and translate them into actionable product requirements.
• Represent the company at conferences, workshops, and user meetings to build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and application scientists to define product positioning, value propositions, and competitive differentiation.
• Support the commercial team with training, sales materials, and competitive insights.
• Identify and develop early adopters and reference sites to validate and expand market reach.
• Create compelling messaging and educational materials in collaboration with scientific communications teams.
• Define and track success metrics for product adoption, customer satisfaction, and market penetration.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies to guide future product evolution.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Advanced degree (e.g., PhD, MSc, MD) in life sciences, medicine, medical physics, or related fields.
• Experience in product management or similar roles within the biotech industry; familiarity with advanced analysis or imaging lab equipment is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional project management abilities with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a dynamic startup environment.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, with flexibility for additional travel if desired.
