Portugal · Full-time · Mid-Senior

Our client is a global player in cloud-based business management solutions, helping companies streamline their accounting, payroll, and HR operations through powerful, intuitive software trusted by millions around the world.

They’re looking for a Business Analyst to join their international team and support the Portuguese market as they localise and implement an existing ERP solution already used in other countries. Your role is to adapt the product to meet Portuguese financial and regulatory requirements, so it can be used seamlessly across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure local compliance: Make sure the ERP system meets all Portuguese legal standards, including certified invoicing and SAF-T (PT) functionality.
  • Support legal documentation: Help the documentation and customer teams by providing input on legal topics and best practices.
  • Translate requirements: Convert business and regulatory needs into clear technical specifications for developers.
  • Support delivery: Work closely with developers and engineers throughout the development and delivery cycle to ensure correct implementation.
  • Collaborate on user stories: Partner with Product Owners to define and validate user stories.
  • Contribute to user experience: Work with the Experience Design team to shape user journeys and deliver intuitive, compliant interfaces.
  • Work with international teams: Collaborate with Business Analysts across countries.
  • Drive innovation: Support follow-up after launch and contribute to updates and improvements, including automation, AI, and chatbot features.
  • Monitor regulations: Stay up to date with Portuguese tax and accounting rules — including certified invoicing, VAT, SAF-T (PT), withholding tax, and reporting (e.g. Modelo 10 and 30).

What You Bring:

  • ERP Expertise: Experience working with financial ERP systems in Portugal.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local compliance requirements, including invoicing and tax regulations.
  • Tools Proficiency: Experience using Jira and Confluence.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Portuguese, with professional working proficiency in English.

This is a hybrid role with the option to work from the office in either Porto or Lisbon.
