Title: Data Scientist (Immediate Joiners)

Role Summary:

We’re seeking a Data Scientist to lead customer behavior and lapse analytics initiatives. You’ll be responsible for collecting and preparing data, conducting analysis, developing predictive models, and delivering actionable insights to reduce policy lapses and improve retention.

Key Responsibilities:

· Data Collection & Prep: Gather and clean data from sources like Salesforce, Life3, Snowflake, and SQL databases.

· Analysis: Perform campaign evaluations (PIRs), customer segmentation, and cancellation analysis using customer feedback and behavior patterns.

· Insights & Recommendations: Identify key lapse drivers and propose strategies to reduce cancellation rates.

· Modeling: Enhance the lapse propensity model using techniques like logistic regression, decision trees, and machine learning algorithms.

· Reporting: Build dashboards and visualizations to monitor lapse-related KPIs; present findings to stakeholders.

· Experimentation: Design and analyze tests to validate hypotheses and assess impact of interventions.

Required Skills:

· Proficiency in SQL and Python

· Experience with Snowflake, Salesforce, and BI tools (Power BI)

· Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills

· Clear communication of data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders

· Background in insurance or financial services is a plus
