About The Role

We are seeking a VP of Engineering responsible for managing our engineering organization. You will oversee daily operations, foster a strong engineering culture that promotes innovation, collaboration, performance, and continuous learning. Collaboration with our Product organization will be essential.

• Participate actively in hiring new talent
• Advocate for effective development practices and cultivate a great engineering culture
• Maximize AI usage in development and QA to optimize time from idea to deployment
• Stay updated with programming languages, frameworks, and platforms
• Assist with prioritization of tech debt and related issues
• Create, develop, and maintain components, applications, and packages to ensure system stability and scalability
• Help define future architecture, technology stack, and workflows
• Facilitate technical and non-technical discussions with colleagues and peers
  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

The role requires deep technical expertise, including experience in development, DevOps, and people and process management. Experience with SaaS products, microservices, and cloud environments (AWS) is essential. Familiarity with languages such as ReactNative, Vue.js, Laravel, and Serverless is preferred. Experience working in agile teams and integrating various business systems is also important.

• Proficiency in Swedish (preferred) and English
• Proven leadership in team management and product delivery in complex environments
• Experience with managing and developing systems and resources
• 2-3 years of managerial experience in high transaction environments
• Experience with OKRs in product development
• Knowledge of security architecture (OWASP, encryption, etc.)
