Loss Prevention Engineer

ISS International SpA is looking for a Loss Prevention Engineer in Doha (QATAR) to involve in an Offshore Oil & Gas Project.

Scope of work: Carry out Loss Prevention Engineering work on the assigned project relevant to offshore wellhead /process platforms under the supervision of the Lead Process Engineer on the assigned project.

Candidates should have experience in:

• Loss prevention philosophy/Safety concept, fire protection design basis
• Hazardous area classification schedule & layouts
• Specification/Criteria for passive fire protection (fireproofing), schedule & layouts
• Fire & gas design philosophy and Fire and gas detection system layouts
• Layout drawings for safety equipment location, escape route and safety signs
• Perform design basis and characterization of the firefighting protection system, and prepare relevant documents & layouts
• Execute hydraulic calculation for fire water network & spray system
• Prepare firefighting, safety equipment, lifesaving equipment supply specification, MR, TBE and review vendors documentation
• Familiar with Oil&Gas standards and international regulations
• Expertise in the preparation of fire water network P&IDs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or higher degree in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum experience of 10 years in Oil & Gas Industry.
• At least 5 years in Loss prevention engineer role
• Familiarity with Oil&Gas standards and international regulations

- Duration: 12 months, liable to extension according to your performance and project needs;

- Standard Working Schedule: 9 hours a day / 5 days a week;

- Rotation: Resident.
