Job Summary:

We’re seeking a tech-driven Associate Program Manager who’s eager to evolve from hands-on coding to leading AI model training and development initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your software development background while managing cutting-edge AI projects, including training LLMs on real-world coding challenges and refining coding agents. You’ll collaborate with both engineering and cross-functional teams, driving the delivery of high-impact projects for Deccan AI.

An exciting part of this role involves leading knowledge-sharing sessions, mentoring annotators, conducting live training sessions, and creating content or strategies to streamline their onboarding. You’ll also be responsible for overseeing quality checks, ensuring that the work produced by both AI models and teams meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiating 0-to-1 projects for the clients!
• Budget & Resource Management:
• Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Team Management:
• Lead and guide project teams, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the main point of contact, providing updates and managing client expectations.
• Risk & Issue Management:
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards.
• Leverage your software background to effectively communicate and coordinate with annotators and AI trainers.
• Lead training programs: Design and deliver live sessions, create content, and take ownership of everything required to ensure annotators are well-trained and aligned with project goals.
• Project Documentation:
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, reports, and post-project evaluations.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of full-time experience as a Software Developer with exposure to real-world projects
• Strong interest in transitioning to management and AI Model Training roles
• Leadership mindset: Ability to mentor, train, and lead sessions for project teams and annotators
• Technical familiarity of at least one programming language (hands-on) with
• Python: Django, Flask, FastAPI
• C/C++: POCO libraries
• Java: Spring Boot
• JavaScript Frameworks: React, Vue.js, Angular, Next.js
• HTML/CSS: Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
