Hours/rotation: Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid)

Job summary/Role description

The candidate will manage the Project Budget by developing site cost control procedures, implementing a reporting system, and preparing budget estimates and cash flow forecasts. They will also monitor expenditures, provide cost advice, and address contractual issues to ensure effective cost management.

Duties and responsibilities

• Follows up the Project Budget;
• Develops and implements detailed project procedures related to Site Cost control and Material Control activities;
• Implements a proper reporting system towards Client and Corporate Management, in compliance with the Contract requirements and project procedures as well as with Corporate Standards;
• Prepares a Budgeting and Cost Management Plan including updates;
• Prepares a Budget Estimate and updates thereof for approval by the Client of construction costs;
• Monitors projected expenditure against allowances made in the approved Budget Estimate;
• Prepares and submits Project cash flow forecasts and monthly updates;
• Provides cost advice, including cost comparisons reviews of alternative design or construction solutions;
• Provides budget updates in such form and with such details as may be requested by the Client;
• Follows up of all contractual issues and monitor their cost impact.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

University degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.

Experience

• Significant experience in the industrial construction of large or XL gas plants.
• Covered a similar role in at least 2-3 projects of comparable size.
• A minimum of 18 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working on the Contractor side.
