They’re looking for a forward-thinking CTO who combines technical depth with product instinct and a passion for building smart, scalable solutions. You’ll be responsible for setting the technical direction, leading high-performing engineering teams, and delivering reliable, data-driven products.

This is a hands-on leadership role—perfect for someone who enjoys balancing architecture and execution, strategy and delivery, people leadership and code quality.

CTO Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term technology roadmap aligned with company strategy
• Champion scalable, cloud-native architecture and resilient infrastructure
• Spearhead the adoption of AI and intelligent automation across the product
• Collaborate with product teams to shape a roadmap that balances user needs and business priorities
• Lead the development of new features and technical improvements across our platform
• Drive innovation while ensuring systems remain stable, secure, and performant
• Coach and inspire a team of talented engineers across multiple disciplines
• Optimise development workflows, tooling, and agile processes to boost productivity
• Embed best practices for testing, CI/CD, and release reliability
• Monitor and improve delivery metrics, from build times to system uptime

CTO Requirements

• Strong experience leading engineering in fast-paced, product-driven environments
• Demonstrated ability to scale systems and teams through growth
• Strategic mindset with a bias for execution and clarity
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and modern infrastructure practices (e.g. Terraform)
• Background in IoT, edge computing, or real-time systems is a plus
• Ability to make pragmatic decisions across architecture, security, performance, and scale
• Working Knowledge of React/Node, AWS &/or C/C++ is ideal
• Familiarity with API ecosystems, integrations, and developer experience strategies
• Excitement about solving real-world problems
