Role summary

Our Software Engineers contribute to the cutting edge of mobile racing games. This role builds, tests, and optimizes game features, ensuring for an engaging and smooth gameplay experience. Software Engineers work closely with our game team, including Producers, Designers, and Artists.


This role is ideal for recent graduates or those at the start of their software development career who are passionate about games and eager to learn.


Role Responsibilities

  • Game Development: Assist in coding and implementing features and tools for our mobile racing games using languages such as C#, C++.
  • Bug Fixing: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance issues to ensure a seamless player experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with all disciplines (Including: Production, Design, Art, Animation, QA, Engineering) to integrate game assets and features, ensuring alignment with the game’s vision and goals.
  • Planning: Actively participate in the production processes for planning and tracking tasks, this may include stand ups, reviews, task breakdown and task estimations
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Testing and Optimization: Contribute to testing and optimization efforts to enhance game performance and stability on various mobile devices.
  • Learning and Growth: Continuously learn, apply and share new technologies, tools, and techniques to improve your skills and contribute to the team’s success.


Qualifications

  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming, especially in C++ or C#, and a willingness to deepen your C++ skills.
  • Understanding of fundamental C++ concepts such as pointers, references, and value vs. reference types.
  • Introductory knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Basic grasp of 3D and vector mathematics (Linear algebra)
  • You enjoy working in a team, value feedback, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teammates.
  • You’re curious about how things work under the hood and enjoy solving technical challenges.
  • A genuine interest in video games, particularly racing games, and an understanding of gaming mechanics and player engagement.


Bonus Points:

  • Portfolio of personal or academic projects related to game development.
  • Basic understanding of game physics, AI, and multiplayer functionality.
