DevOps Solution Architect

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a Solution Architect with significant expertise in DevOps principles and implementation, specifically within an Applications and Middleware environment.
• Strong experience with containerisation and virtualisation technologies, including Docker, VMware, Xen, KVM, Hyper-V, and Linux Containers.
• Proficiency in implementing hybrid Cloud/On-prem architectures based on Software-Defined Network (SDN), Software-Defined Storage (SDS), and Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with system hardening for Windows, Linux, and related databases/applications.
• Demonstrable experience in implementing distributed and centralised monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., syslog, syslog-ng, rsyslog, ELK, Nagios).
• Expertise in implementing authentication solutions based on PKI (Openssl, Open-Source PKI, Microsoft CA) and Strong Authentication (e.g., Smart Card: RSA Securid, Gemplus, Aladin Token).
• Experience with capacity planning based on usage history and forecasts.
• Ability to conduct strategic studies, including evaluation of quality and efficiency of operations, definition and execution of tests/proofs of concept, and assessment of technical quality of offers.
• Experience with database implementation, customisation, parameterisation, prototyping, programming, testing, quality control, and support for information systems.
• International project experience in architecture and technology selection, installation, configuration, testing, and operations.
• Excellent knowledge of industry norms, standards, trends, and state-of-the-art implementation examples.
• EU Nationality is required due to security clearance

Job Description:

• Lead strategic architecture and technology studies, considering user requirements, technological evolution, ergonomics, ecological footprint, availability, scalability, maintainability, and financial aspects.
• Define and implement metrics to evaluate the quality and efficiency of operations, proposing measures for improvement.
• Design and implement solutions for system hardening across various operating systems and applications.
• Architect and deploy distributed and centralised monitoring and logging infrastructures.
• Develop and integrate virtualisation and containerisation solutions for applications.
• Implement and manage hybrid cloud and on-premise architectures using SDN, SDS, and Kubernetes.
• Design and oversee the implementation of authentication solutions, including PKI and strong authentication methods.
• Provide technical support, guidance, and quality assurance during the deployment and migration of IT solutions.
