As the Sales Head & Founding Member of the Dubai branch, you will play a critical role in establishing and expanding DWAO’s presence in the UAE and broader Middle Eastern markets. This unique position combines strategic leadership in sales with the responsibilities of a founding team member in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment. You will be responsible for building the sales framework, leading a high-performance team, establishing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the Dubai and Middle East market.
- Set clear sales targets and KPIs aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing sales team; ensure alignment with DWAO’s company culture and values.
- Collaborate with the executive team to drive the company’s overall business strategy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all sales-related activities in the region.
2. Market Expansion & Business Development
- Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities in the region, leveraging your network and market knowledge.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Drive new client acquisition through direct sales, presentations, negotiations, and contract closures.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention through consistent engagement and proactive support.
3. Team Building & Development
- Recruit, train, and onboard sales staff in alignment with the company’s goals and regional requirements.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance within the team.
- Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities for sales team members.
4. Revenue Growth & Financial Performance
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for the Dubai branch, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure proper pricing, forecasting, and budget adherence.
5. Brand Building & Market Presence
- Promote the DWAO brand and value proposition within the regional market.
- Represent DWAO at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Position the Dubai branch as a market leader through innovative solutions and exceptional client service.
6. Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Regularly report on sales performance, market insights, and team progress to the executive leadership team.
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to refine sales strategies.
- Use CRM tools and data analytics to track performance, optimize sales efforts, and enhance decision-making.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and marketing campaigns.
- Provide feedback on market needs and customer expectations to ensure that DWAO’s products and services meet the demands of the region.
Experience:
- Proven track record of 15-20 years in sales leadership, with at least 8-10 years in a managerial role, preferably within the UAE or Middle East markets.
- Experience in MarTech, technology, marketing services and consulting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling sales teams and driving significant revenue growth.
- Strong experience in B2B sales, client relationship management, and strategic business development.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create and execute complex sales strategies and programs.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
- Deep understanding of regional market dynamics, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and data analytics.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced qualification is a plus.
Languages:
- Fluency in English is required. Arabic language proficiency is highly desirable.
