Sales Technical Engineer

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Sales Technical Engineer. This is a remote position, with approximately 60-70% of the time spent visiting clients in the field, and the remainder working from home.

The company offers a comprehensive, tailored on-boarding program, including training and support for 3 to 6 months.

Our client is a well-established international company, specialising in the development of components, assemblies, and services for fluid systems.

Position Overview

This role focuses on driving sales growth and development in the assigned region through a combination of technical expertise and commercial skills. You will work closely with customers to deliver tailored solutions and expand market presence, with a strong emphasis on long-term business growth.

Location: Slovenia

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and lead generation

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions

  • Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of competitors and refine sales strategies

  • Develop and implement sales plans, report on activities, and collaborate with internal teams

  • Continuously enhance technical and commercial skills through training and development

Requirements

  • Technical degree and/or 3 years of experience in sales within a professional Business to Business environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Strong technical knowledge; experience with fluid systems or industrial solutions (Valves, regulators, fittings)

  • Proven track record in Business to Business and solution-based sales

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Fluent in English and Slovenian
