Senior Information Technology Project Manager

We are currently looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join a small team within a leading Swiss IT provider, to take charge of business-critical custom IT projects that involve integrating cloud solutions, modernizing infrastructure and guiding companies through digital change.

In this role, you will act as the point of contact between clients, internal teams and external partners, leading IT transformation projects from start to finish, ensuring that planning, execution, stakeholder management and final delivery meet the quality standards.

Your responsibilities

• Leading infrastructure and digitalization projects from concept to production
• Coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining client relationships
• Ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are met
• Using both classical and agile project management methods as needed
• Managing documentation, updates, and transition to operational support

Your profile

• At least five years of experience in IT project leadership, ideally in an IT service provider setting
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Azure, M365), with the ability to grasp complex systems
• Degree in Business Informatics or related IT education
• High client orientation, structured mindset, and excellent communication skills
• Fluent in German with solid English proficiency
• Project management certifications (e.g., IPMA, PMP, HERMES) are a plus
