Machine Learning Engineer

Project Description:

We are looking for an experienced specialist to work for one of our client from the banking industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement advanced machine learning and deep learning models tailored to complex financial datasets and business objectives.
• Apply statistical and mathematical methods to analyze data trends, assess risk, and inform predictive modeling.
• Evaluate, validate, and monitor model performance, ensuring accuracy, stability, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with financial analysts, IT teams, and data scientists to align models with operational and strategic goals.
• Translate technical results into actionable insights through clear visualizations and communication to non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay current on evolving financial regulations, market developments, and innovations in AI applications for the banking sector.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and linear algebra, essential for developing interpretable and robust models.
• Deep expertise in Python and R, with hands-on experience using libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Pandas.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulatory frameworks, enabling informed model development and deployment.
• Proven ability to evaluate and validate models for fairness, accuracy, and real-world relevance.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience presenting to business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks, NLP, and time-series forecasting in financial contexts is highly desirable.
