Location: Hybrid, London office presence required

We're inviting a Senior Software Engineer to join us in an exciting greenfield project within our Expand tribe. This is a wonderful opportunity to help shape the next generation of Gousto's digital experience.

This nurturing Software Engineer role embraces flexibility, allowing you to work where you feel most inspired and effective, whether that's in the comfort of your home or in our welcoming London, Shepherds Bush office. We value the warmth of in-person collaboration and invite team members to join us in the office twice a week, fostering cross-team connections and participating in inclusive all-hands gatherings.

Whilst our tech-stack includes using TypeScript, Node, React and AWS (amongst others), we are happy to consider experience from OOP language, provided you are happy to learn and work with the technologies/languages used at Gousto.

Core Responsibilities

• Implement high-quality, scalable, and efficient user experiences in a modular and test-driven environment
• Obsessing over quality & performance of customer-facing interfaces
• Supporting and collaborating with other engineers as well as non-technical members of the team
  
  
  

Who You Are

• Experience in leading the build of performant, responsive and secure applications
• Strong knowledge and experience with test-driven development / XP practices is a "must-have" to be successful in this team.
• Experience with modern architectural patterns and design systems
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders
• Experience in supporting and mentoring junior members in the team
• Exposure to CI/CD tooling to responsibly run applications in production
