Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer with hands-on experience in Cisco technologies, specifically in SD-WAN (Viptela or Meraki), LAN, and WiFi networks, to support and enhance enterprise network environments. This is a 100% remote position, with occasional on-site presence required during onboarding and approximately once every two months thereafter.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Cisco SD-WAN solutions (Viptela or Meraki) across multi-site enterprise environments.
  • Manage and optimize LAN and WiFi networks, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability.
  • Configure and support Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and access points.
  • Continuously monitor network performance, availability, and reliability using appropriate tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents and issues, escalating when necessary to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date network documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, infrastructure, operations) to ensure alignment with organizational goals and technical standards.
  • Participate in network planning and improvement initiatives, providing input based on best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, technical standards, and change management processes.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, in a remote, international working environment.

Desired Skills

Desirable skills include Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP (Enterprise

Wireless

or Security); experience working in ITIL-based environments and with ticketing systems; and familiarity with scripting or network automation tools like Python or Ansible
