The position

As a Senior Python Developer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking, Fintech, Telco, Retail, Sports, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in the development of tools and user-friendly applications that deliver real business value. You’ll work in a DevOps environment where collaboration, code quality, and knowledge sharing are key. You’ll use your extensive Python experience—especially in GUI and tool development—along with your strong data analysis skills to drive forward projects in an Agile team setting.

• Participate in daily standups and Agile ceremonies with your team to align on goals and remove blockers
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and DevOps team during sprint planning to define and prioritize deliverables
• Work on low-level design and development for smart, data-driven solutions
• Analyze business needs through stakeholder meetings to inform application features and improvements
• Coordinate technical integrations and user stories with other teams
• Refine and break down product backlog items for upcoming quarters
• Coach and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
• Manage tasks and requests via ticketing systems to ensure smooth operations

What you bring to the position

• At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Python Developer
• Proven track record in GUI and tool development with Python
• Practical experience with:
• SQL
• Git
• Azure Cloud
• Databricks
• CI/CD pipelines

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with JavaScript and frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
