The Opportunity

This is a pivotal strategic hire, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to shape and lead the company’s global technology vision. As CITO, you will drive innovation, lead the execution of transformative software and infrastructure initiatives, and play a critical role in enabling international growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of a forward-looking, scalable, and secure global technology strategy.
• Oversee enterprise-wide technology operations, infrastructure, and systems architecture.
• Drive innovation across digital platforms, network evolution, and BSS/OSS transformation.
• Ensure alignment with international regulatory, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and align IT strategies with broader business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a globally distributed team of technology professionals.

Candidate Profile

Essential Experience & Attributes:

• 15+ years in senior technology leadership within the mobile telecommunications (MNO) sector.
• Proven track record of operating at C-level (CIO/CTO/CTIO) within a multinational environment.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale, multi-country deployments and transformations.
• Deep understanding of telecom infrastructure, cloud-native technologies, cybersecurity, and compliance.
• Strategic leadership capabilities, with strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to cross-sector environments (e.g., fintech, digital services) is highly desirable.
