Linux System Engineer (m/f/d) in Vienna

Your Responsibilities and Contribution to Our Client's Success:

• Administration, documentation, improvement, and maintenance of IT infrastructure
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance and reliability of data centers and cloud-based systems
• Implementation and maintenance of automations to manage and optimize IT infrastructure (Ansible)
• Analyzing and improving the security of IT systems (SIEM/SOC) to maintain and ensure safety standards and best practices
• Close cooperation with development and operations teams to ensure high availability and performance of applications, ensuring that solution requirements are met
• Evaluation and assessment of new technologies as well as their further implementation in the environment

Your Background:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience as a Linux System Engineer
• Experience working with Linux, TCP/IP networks, and high availability concepts
• Knowledge of scripting and IT automation/infrastructure as code as well as Docker experience with proxy
• Experience with Oracle, MongoDB, Kubernetes; Jira/Confluence is an advantage
• Good knowledge of English (min. C1), German is a plus
