Senior Manager, Product Engineering

Danfoss Editron is a development division in Danfoss Power Solutions, leading the mobile equipment market with our high-performing, diverse teams that make an impact with game-changing electric solutions and customer satisfaction excellence. We electrify mobile equipment towards a safe, efficient and sustainable future. Editron aims to triple the high-voltage sales through boldly developing full electric and hybrid system solutions, leveraging the leading position of DPS in hydraulics, PLUS+1 and capturing synergies from covering high-voltage to low-voltage.

We are now searching for a Senior Product Engineering Manager who will manage a team responsible for product engineering activities including product modifications and customer support for the Power & Charging Solutions product portfolio in the Editron Division.

The position is preferred to work out from one of our Editron sites, in Finland, or Denmark.

Job Responsibilities
In this role you will help plan, prioritize and deliver customer requests as well as enhance the current product engineering process, projects deliverables, and product maintenance & improvement (PMI) and engineers people development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and deliver customer requests on current products
• Bridging the gap between R&D engineers, application engineering and manufacturing engineering teams and so on
• Leading Re-sourcing, localization, cost-down engineering activities, and engineering systems implementation
• Lead team to provide Product Line Support (e.g. –quality improvement, failure analysis, EOL testing)
• Lead team to provide customer requests support (drawings, models, material numbers, calculations), minor customer specific product modifications, field reject support.
• Developing your team in both technical and leadership competences
• Working with your team to solve engineering challenges critical to our business success
  
  

Background & Skills
To be successful in this role, you'll hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or a similar related field, alongside demonstrable experience within a similar position within Product Engineering.
