Where Does This Role Fit In?

The Data Quality Analyst supports the Data Operations team and reports to the Head of Data Operations. You’ll play a crucial part in analysis for Finance, Regulatory Reporting, and Insurance Analytics. As the Data Operations function is undergoing a redesign, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape day-to-day operations, contribute to evolving best practices in data quality, and help ensure that business partners make decisions built on trustworthy data.


What You’ll Be Doing:


Data Analysis & Insight

  • Investigate and analyse data quality issues across key systems and domains to identify root causes, recurring patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide clear and actionable insights to support remediation and preventive strategies.


Reporting & Monitoring

  • Build and maintain data quality dashboards and exception reports.
  • Support the creation of transparent, repeatable reporting processes that track performance over time.


Data Investigation & Issue Resolution

  • Respond to queries regarding data quality issues. Perform detailed investigations into anomalies, inconsistencies, or gaps.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to validate findings and support resolution efforts.


Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Work alongside Data Analysts and business stakeholders to help design and implement new data quality processes, controls, and standards.
  • Offer practical recommendations based on data trends and user needs.


Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Relevant experience in insurance, reinsurance, business analysis, and/or data analytics.
  • Team‑oriented, collaborative approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (minimum CEFR C1/CAE or equivalent).
  • Confidence to speak up when improvements are needed, and maturity to balance priorities pragmatically.
  • Strong analytical mindset suited to handling complex datasets.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in complex environments.
  • Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Initiative to work independently and deliver outcomes from start to finish.
  • Energetic self-starter who consistently meets deadlines.
  • Proven ability to execute both team-based and independent, self-driven projects.


Qualifications & Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Alteryx, Python, SQL, or equivalent data tools.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization platforms.
  • Additional language skills (French or Spanish preferred).
