A leading global HFT Prop Fund is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Trading Automation team in Amsterdam. Role Overview

As a Trading Software Engineer, you will design and develop high-impact software solutions that directly support our core trading operations. You will be embedded within a collaborative technology environment, developing applications and automation pipelines that enhance data frameworks, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency. Your work will span the full trading lifecycle and directly influence business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimise trading automation systems used by global trading teams
• Identify inefficiencies across workflows and develop solutions to automate them
• Develop and maintain reliable applications, services, and pipelines to support trading infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with Trading Automation colleagues and other departments to enhance end-to-end systems integration
• Provide operational support for delivered tools and platforms

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• Proven expertise in Python (Golang and/or JavaScript proficiency is a plus)
• Deep understanding of Unix/Linux systems
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems
• Academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
