With a strong focus on sustainable transportation and intelligent pricing strategies, our client is expanding its tech hub in Lisbon, and we’re now looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join their advanced data science team.

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge ML solutions involving reinforcement learning, multi-armed bandits, and Bayesian inference—technologies at the core of dynamic pricing and optimization strategies used in real-time operations.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade ML systems, particularly focused on reinforcement learning and bandit algorithms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, Engineers, Product Managers, Business Operations) to bring prototypes to life
• Monitor system behavior and model performance through dashboards and custom visualizations
• Proactively identify operational inefficiencies and develop ML-powered solutions to drive automation and performance
• Communicate technical approaches and results to both technical and non-technical audiences

What You Bring

• Solid experience in machine learning, preferably with exposure to reinforcement learning, multi-armed bandits, or Bayesian methods
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience deploying models in production environments with attention to performance, scalability, and monitoring
• Fluent in English and eager to work in a multicultural, collaborative environment
