Schedule: 1 FTE (40 hours per week)

Contract: 1-year contract with a high possibility of extension.

Salary: Up to 36 EUR/h.

What You'll Be Doing

We’re currently looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a forward-thinking technology team building scalable and secure solutions across cloud-based infrastructures.

You will be part of a collaborative development team working on robust backend systems, integrations, and infrastructure. This is a hands-on coding role for someone familiar with cloud-native environments, containerization, and modern development pipelines.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

  • Develop and maintain Java-based microservices and RESTful APIs
  • Contribute to secure authentication and authorization flows (e.g. SAML, oAUTH, JWT)
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments
  • Build, test, and deploy code through modern CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Nexus, and Bamboo
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams in an Azure environment
  • Document APIs using Swagger and OpenAPI standards
  • Maintain and optimize MySQL database interactions

You'll be successful if you have

  • Strong experience with Java and backend development
  • Hands-on knowledge of REST and microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with SAML, oAUTH2, and JWT-based authentication
  • Experience working in cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure
  • Comfort with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of modern CI/CD tools: Git, Bamboo, Nexus
  • Experience using Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
