Network Engineer (US Tech MNC)

The Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering with our client, a leading global technology company, to find a Network Engineer to support a critical project.
• This is a contract position focused on supporting the network infrastructure for manufacturing sites in China.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network operations and troubleshooting, particularly in Meraki systems.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of network infrastructure, primarily for manufacturing sites in China.

• Perform network maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance, including troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.

• Respond to network incidents and mitigate downtime or disruptions.

• Provide support to internal teams and external manufacturers for network-related issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network-related projects to ensure smooth integration.

• Manage and maintain Meraki-based network systems, ensuring consistent and reliable service.

• 1-2 years of experience in network operations, managing and maintaining large-scale enterprise network infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Layer 2 (LACP, 802.1x) and Layer 3 (IPv4/v6, TCP, OSPF, BGP) protocols.
• Experience in Meraki systems is a huge plus.
• Proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with stakeholders and manufacturers in China.
• Experience with AWS networking (VPCs, security groups) is a plus.
• Familiarity with firewall technologies (stateful and non-stateful) is required.
• Knowledge of scripting (Python) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
