Sr Product Manager

It’s important to note that, in this instance, the role does not involve immediate hiring but rather serves as a part of a pipeline for future recruitments.

We are looking for a Ssr/Sr Product Manager to join Rootstrap’s Product team based in Argentina, Uruguay, or Colombia. Here at Rootstrap, we deliver exceptional work and have a great time doing it. The product team is growing, and we are looking for experienced product managers to be part of the challenge and work hand in hand with our clients in the USA.

As a Product Manager at Rootstrap, your integral role involves shaping and implementing innovative product visions for our clients. Operating as a collaborative consultant and team contributor, you will actively engage in various aspects of product development.

In your role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and other departments, to develop the product strategy and roadmap and make the client’s vision a reality. Your responsibilities span the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch.

What are the main responsibilities of this role?

• Manage the discovery and delivery process of several initiatives in parallel and work with multi-pod teams with other product managers.
• Manage stakeholders and their expectations.
• Facilitate sessions and conversations to gain clarity and key definitions.
• Elaborate on a roadmap to help everyone understand where the product is going, and be the vision keeper.
• Transform business initiatives into product requirements documentation and map user stories that can be developed on the sprints.
• Participate actively in standard agile ceremonies (daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint retrospectives, sprint demos, etc.)
• Collaborate with other leaders on the team and work actively with stakeholders on the product strategy to drive outcome-oriented results.
  
  

Which skills and experience do we envision for this role?

• Must have a track record of launching digital products to the market (Required).
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in product roles as a product owner, product manager, or product lead.
• Product Management skills: Prioritization, discovery, analytics, negotiation, facilitation, research.
• Experience with the Agile development process and a clear understanding of the digital product development lifecycle.
• Experience in product discovery, design thinking, lean startup, design sprint and/or other innovation frameworks.
• Advanced or bilingual English, for nonnative speakers (Required).
