Are you a passionate programmer (f/m/d) with several years of experience in software development and would like to actively support us in the development of our PLC operating system Automation Runtime? You have experience in structured project management and know how to properly use tools as well as techniques to ensure development quality. Your responsibilities

• Work as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects
• Demonstrate solid technical proficiency in own area of competence and embrace best practices.
• Stay abreast of the state of the art (industry/academia) in own competence area as well as new and evolving technologies.
• Actively apply this knowledge and go beyond as required.
• Main contact person for specific product related issues and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively, both on technical and general topics, within the team, with other teams and with management.
  
  

Your background

• Successfully completed technical education (HTL/FH/University) with focus on software engineering, embedded systems design, electronics and/or electrical engineering
• Sound knowledge of hardware-related software development (C) as well as a basic understanding of electronics
• Independent, accurate and systematic way of working
• Communicative, constructive and team-oriented personality
• Good English as well as German language skills
• Independently recognize problems and provide input to solutions.
• Experience with operating system and driver development
• Optional qualifications:
• Experience in SW development for VxWorks platforms
• Knowledge of the GNU compiler/debugger toolchain GCC/GDB
• Experience with JIRA and CONFLUENCE
