Position Overview: The Product Manager for the Postpaid Category is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of postpaid products, including the operational roadmap and services. This role involves developing new offerings, enhancing existing products, and ensuring that our postpaid portfolio meets the evolving needs of our customers and the competitive landscape. You will lead operational strategic projects in collaboration with the Project Manager and work closely with technical, operations, legal & regulatory, customer care, marketing, and sales teams to drive product success and achieve business objectives. This role requires strong coordination with the local product team to align on business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation and development to launch and post-launch performance, ensuring products meet market demands and business goals.
- Operational Project Roadmap: Lead and manage the delivery of the strategic operational roadmap. Work closely with the Project Manager to implement and deploy the roadmap.
- Product Specifications: Define detailed product requirements and specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and operations to ensure accurate and efficient product development.
- Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap that aligns with company objectives and addresses customer requirements, ensuring timely delivery of product milestones.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between various departments (marketing, sales, customer service, technical teams) to ensure cohesive product development and delivery.
- Customer Journey: Review end-to-end customer journey stages to ensure the product is fit for go-to-market (GTM) from a technical perspective. Collaborate with the Props Manager to sign off each journey stage for all channels.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success, making data-driven decisions to optimize product performance and profitability.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement a continuous improvement process for existing products based on customer feedback and market dynamics to enhance product features and maintain competitiveness.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all postpaid products comply with relevant industry regulations and company policies, mitigating any legal or compliance risks.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate product status, updates, and strategic plans to senior management and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Product Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing the full lifecycle of products, particularly within telecommunications or a related industry.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of customer behavior and needs, with the ability to translate these insights into actionable product features and enhancements.
- Analytical and Data-Driven: Excellent analytical skills with a strong capability to interpret complex data, draw insights, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic product roadmaps that align with overall business objectives and market opportunities.
- Project Management Skills: Strong project management abilities, with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering them on time and within budget.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product concepts, requirements, and status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with telecommunications technologies, platforms, and trends, particularly those relevant to postpaid products.

- Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and market conditions.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or a related role within the telecommunications industry or a similar field.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and managing product propositions, with measurable results.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in product management or marketing are a plus.
