Playtech's Videobet Infrastructure Team is looking for a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join their innovative team.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

• Deploy, maintain and troubleshoot Videobet (Java) application servers and related platform components
• Create Bash, Ansible, SQL scripts to improve automation, fix problems, troubleshoot and debug platform components
• Work with technologies like Git (GitLab), Ansible, Docker, Java, Oracle Linux OS, Windows Server OS, VMware VCenter/ESX, Java, JBoss, Oracle database, Apache Web Server, Zabbix and more
• Collaborate with a wide range of people from Project Team, QA Engineers, Java developers, C++ developers, Corporate Security and IT teams
• Proactively handle vulnerability management for Videobet application platform components with tools like Tenable and Rapid7
• Be responsible for handling requests from other teams
• Monitor our system and perform log analysis (Zabbix, application/operating system logs)
• Keep up to date with new technologies and make recommendations to the team
• Help, support, and share knowledge with colleagues within the team and with other teams

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

• Preferably have 2+ years of experience in the DevOps, SRE or System Administration field. However, we also welcome eager candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong technical knowledge. In such cases, we are committed to providing guidance and mentorship to support their growth.
• Have a strong knowledge and experience of Linux operating system and related tools
• Have an experience with Windows Server operating system and related tools
• Have an experience with Git, Ansible, Docker or other automation systems and methodologies
• Have an experience with VMWare product - vCenter, ESXi, clusters or other virtualization solutions
• Have a good understanding of PKI, server and client certificates and certificate chains
• Have experience with troubleshooting live issues in a production environment
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Can speak and write English at a good level
