DevOps Engineer - Long Term Contract
This role supports scalable, data-driven platforms by building and maintaining robust infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliable deployments and optimise system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE/AKS) using Helm for efficient deployments.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and shell scripts (Bash, Python).
- Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD.
- Monitor system performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
- Ensure secure secret management with tools like Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration.
- Proficiency in Terraform and scripting (Bash, Python).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins).
- Equivalent experience or a relevant degree in computer science or related field.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Familiarity with data Lakehouse platforms (e.g., S3 + Hive, Delta Lake).
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Knowledge of distributed data systems (e.g., Airflow, Spark, Kafka).
