Data Engineer / Data Analyst

We are looking for a Data Engineer / Data Analyst to join our team.

In this role, you’ll manage and develop end-to-end data flows, from source systems to reporting, and refine raw data into actionable insights. You’ll work daily with SQL, handling data related to loans, deposits, securities, and other financial instruments. Your work will directly support banks’ risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements.

At ALMP, we're focused on building data pipelines and data warehousing solutions for banks’ regulatory reporting and risk management needs. You’ll get to work with modern Azure-based tools and be part of a tight-knit team delivering impactful data solutions in the financial sector.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong motivation to work with data and solve complex problems
• Solid SQL skills and data warehousing understanding
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Interest in the financial industry and business processes
• Fluency in Finnish and English (spoken and written)
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data modeling (Kimball, Data Vault)
• Familiarity with Azure services (especially ADF and SQL resources)
• Scripting skills in Python or PowerShell
• Hands-on experience and understanding of banking operations, regulatory reporting, or risk management
• Previous experience in data warehouse or financial reporting
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket)
