Over 90 locations around the world rely on our central IT services. Our IT specialists in Eggelsberg maintain, optimize and continually upgrade over 3,000 end devices as well as a global network that operates 24/7 using a large number of server and storage systems in our own TÜV-certified data centers as well as the latest application software.

In this position, you will provide support to our team for the daily operation of the server infrastructure. You can expect exciting insight into a global IT system and the chance to constantly learn new technologies. We will consider experienced specialists and recent graduates with little IT experience.

Your responsibilities

  • Engineering and implementing sustainable IT workplace solutions and projects in all areas of the company (office workstations, production workstations, meeting rooms, client security, etc.)
  • Defining standards in collaboration with our System Architect
  • Handling coordination and analysis of the requirements with the departments
  • Planning, evaluating, implementing and rolling out the systems as well as putting them into operation
  • Implementing automation and optimization measures in the IT workplace environment
  • Supporting the team in charge of operating our IT hardware and software at the workplace (PCs and laptops, smart phones, printers, barcode systems, thin clients, etc.)
  • Maintaining and further developing the mobile device management system

Your background

  • Entry-level employees or ideally (initial) professional experience in IT
  • Solid hardware and software knowledge (mobile devices, media technology, PC, laptop, printer, etc.)
  • Knowledge in the area of MDM (Mobile Device Management) preferred
  • Knowledge of media technology (digital signage, meeting room equipment, video conferencing systems, etc.) preferred
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
  • Team-oriented personality with hands-on mentality
  • Enjoy a varied job with personal responsibility

In order to comply with legal requirements, we refer to the minimum salary of the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in the amount of € 3,409,59 gross/month. A clear willingness to increase pay based on qualifications and experience.
