Purpose of the job

As a Software Engineer with a focus on Frontend development, particularly using Angular, you will be responsible for creating dynamic and responsive web applications that meet client expectations for functionality, quality, and timely delivery. While Angular will be your primary tool, you will also leverage other relevant web technologies as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes for each project. Your role will involve adhering to the company’s best practices and methodologies, producing necessary documentation, and interacting with clients as required.

Main Responsibilities

• Frontend Development:
• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Angular, with the flexibility to utilize other frontend technologies (e.g., React, Vue.js) where appropriate.
• Collaborate with design teams to accurately implement UI/UX designs into functional code.
• Ensure that web applications are optimized for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Coding and Methodology:
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, primarily using Angular but incorporating other frontend technologies when beneficial.
• Contribute to the development and adherence to coding standards and best practices within the team.
• Perform and participate in code reviews, providing and receiving feedback to ensure high-quality code.
• Module Delivery:
• Deliver frontend modules on time, adhering to the project plan and ensuring they meet specified quality standards and client expectations.
• Coordinate with backend developers to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.
• Technology and Innovation:
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Angular and other relevant web technologies.
• Participate in research and development activities to explore and integrate new technologies that enhance frontend development processes and product offerings.
• Maintenance and Support:
• Perform maintenance on existing web applications, ensuring they remain functional and up-to-date with current technologies.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for frontend issues, both during development and post-launch.
• Client Interaction and Documentation:
• Assist in gathering and refining client requirements, focusing on the frontend aspects of web applications.
• Contribute to the creation of design documents and other technical documentation to ensure clear and consistent communication.
• Engage with clients as needed to clarify requirements, provide progress updates, and ensure satisfaction with the delivered product.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Conduct unit testing on your code and collaborate with QA teams to ensure the frontend components meet quality and performance standards.
• Address and resolve bugs and issues identified during the testing phase.
• Collaboration and Teamwork:
• Work closely with backend developers, designers, and other team members to deliver cohesive and effective web applications.
• Actively participate in team meetings, offering insights and suggestions regarding project planning, design, and implementation.
  

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or equivalent
  
  

Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Frontend Development
