Role - Business Analyst

Location - Dublin (Hybrid) - Permanent

My client are looking for a Business Analyst to join their Data Operations team in South Dublin. In this role, you'll play a key part in bridging the gap between business stakeholders, data professionals, and technical teams to help deliver impactful data-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and capture business requirements through workshops, interviews, and analysis
• Document clear and concise requirements to support project scoping and delivery
• Support the analysis and mapping of current and future business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment
• Assist in test planning and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solution quality
• Provide general project support, including administrative tasks, tracking progress, and preparing materials

Key Requirements:

• Experience working within Agile frameworks, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria
• Working knowledge of Alteryx, Python, SQL, or similar tools
• Understanding of business analysis and/or data analytics principles
• Proven ability to document business and technical requirements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams in a regulated or complex environment
• Fluent in English (C1 or native level)
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, information systems, marketing, or computer science)

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
• Background in insurance, finance, reinsurance, or analytics sectors
• Exposure to backend–frontend system integrations
• Additional language skills (preferably French or Spanish)
