Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer with significant years of experience to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge Issuer platform. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot to design, build, and deliver innovative solutions for a leading financial institution. You will work in a collaborative and agile environment, leading by example and mentoring junior developers, while contributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, with a primary focus on backend development. Experience with front-end technologies like Angular is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and performant Java-based applications using Spring Boot, taking ownership of critical components and features.
• Lead technical discussions and contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap for the Issuer platform.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to translate complex business requirements into robust and elegant technical solutions.
• Drive the adoption of modern software development best practices, including code reviews, testing methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proactively identify and address technical challenges, proposing innovative solutions and mitigating potential risks.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Several years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Extensive experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Proven ability to design and implement complex systems, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Angular or other modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
