Project

We are looking for a Senior .Net Developer to join our Power & Gas Solutions Team. You will be responsible for guiding the development of the current tech stack, future applications, and overall automation and processes.

You will work independently to deliver custom-developed solutions for business stakeholders, primarily Power & Gas traders. You will take a leading role in the development process and follow a structured Agile methodology, working in sprints within a defined framework.

Your responsibilities will include analyzing and developing software solutions using the latest technologies and methodologies. You will ensure alignment with software architecture and security standards while focusing on enabling business development.

Responsibilities You'll Have

• Defining the technological direction of the Gas Logistics Team in alignment with the Development Team, Product Owner, and architectural guidelines via the bridgehead.
• Developing new functionalities in our IT landscape applications and vendor applications.
• Taking responsibility for the full application lifecycle: building, testing, running, and monitoring the IT service landscape to enable gas and power trading processes and interaction with the respective markets in Europe (and other continents). You build it, you run it.
• Performing full-stack application development, exploring the latest technologies, and staying up to date in the field of application development within an Agile framework.
• Creating standardized interfaces, connecting to other applications (in-house and external), and ensuring proper visualization towards the customer.
• Understanding the requirements and processes of our business stakeholders.
• Translating functional requirements into IT solutions.
• Taking over strategic responsibility for and utilizing the ticketing process for bug fixing as well as identifying common patterns and advising the Product Owner on product improvements.
  
  

Expected competences and knowledge

• At least 5 years of proven experience in software development.
• Solid experience with: .NET 8, .NET Framework, C#, TypeScript, Azure.
• Good experience with: Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), SQL Server, Angular, Kubernetes, Service Bus, Event Hub, Kafka, REST API, Postman.
• Experience with Event-driven architecture, Helm Charts, Docker, Pulumi, Postgres, EF Core.
• Relevant experience with automated testing (unit/integration tests) using xUnit or similar frameworks.
• Very good command of English (spoken and written)
