We are looking for a Project Management Team Leader at ABB Oy, Large Motors & Generators Division in Helsinki, Finland.

In this role, you will lead a team of Project Managers and Project Engineers working with customer projects on a wide global electric motor market. You will be covering manager activities including the order-to-delivery process, customer communication, risk & change management and general HR responsibilities. As a Project Management Team Leader you operate fluently in customer interface to maintain and promote both customer relations and factory interests. Abilities to professionally motivate and collaborate with other stakeholders and underline ways for meaningful work are expected.

Head of Project Management

Your responsibilities

• Managing the operational project management team and overseeing project execution performance and revenue realization through different reviews and metrics
• Arranging and allocating project management resources such that the best use of individual capabilities and team resources are utilized
• Building and maintaining relationships with industrial customers on a global market and key internal and external stakeholders
• Accountability for project-related problem solving, serving as an escalation point for customer project issues
• Developing, implementing and continuously improving standard processes, tools and ways of working by applying best practices to the internal environment
• Maintaining and promoting a proactive Health, Safety & Environment culture
  
  

Your background

• Several years of working experience in international customer interface role(s) within the industrial field
• Motivating leader with a customer-oriented mindset and good collaboration and negotiation skills
• Collaborative, solution-focused approach with a sense of ownership, urgency and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and spoken communication skills, as well as working proficiency in written and spoken English and Finnish. Other language skills are considered an advantage
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering, business or other relevant field
• Previous manager experience is considered an advantage
• Experience in electric motors is considered an advantage
