We are looking for talented R&D (Senior) Project Manager in Marine division in Vuosaari, Helsinki to join our team to plan and deliver our Integrated Marine bridge systems product releases.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with multiple technical and commercial product owners, globally located R&D development teams, and our customer delivery projects to ensure successful delivery of our products. In addition, you will have the opportunity for professional development in R&D project management, to influence and improve our R&D delivery process, as well as exposure to end customers and marine industries in general.

This position reports to

R&D / Technology Manager

Your responsibilities

• Motivating and monitoring teams to accomplish all tasks and milestones
• Coordinating work across several R&D project teams in multiple geographical locations
• Communicating towards internal receivers and other stakeholders
• Prioritization of tasks according to changes in timeline, scope and budget
• Transparency around change requests, unforeseen results or events
• Identification of risks and ensures that they are properly managed and communicated
  
  

Your background

• Highly organized working style, experience of project management
• Proactive way of working, with project teams and stakeholders
• Experience of Agile product development processes
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Appreciation of stakeholders and how R&D deliverables fit in overall picture
• Willingness to learn, both in ABB’s process and solutions technical aspects
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Control automation or other relevant design area
