Junior R&D Engineer (High Performance Computing)

We are expanding our R&D hub to develop next-generation solvers for partial differential equations used in computational fluid dynamics, seismic analysis, and other high-performance computing applications. These solutions push the limits of heterogeneous clusters with CPU and GPU architectures.

Our cross-country team has over 100 engineers and scientists building HPC innovations that have a global impact.

IF YOU ARE

• Passionate about algorithmic design and optimization of finite-difference, finite-volume, or finite-element methods with at least 6 months of commercial experience in this area
• Experienced in C/C++ 17 and confident in writing SIMD-friendly, cache-aware code
• Skilled in MPI or another distributed-memory model for large-scale numerical workloads
• Proficient in using Linux tools such as perf, FlameGraph, or Intel VTune
• Familiar with GPU architectures such as CUDA or HIP and capable of porting CPU kernels
• Comfortable scripting in Python for tooling, testing, and data analysis
• Capable of communicating in technical English during daily stand-ups, code reviews, and design discussions
  
  
  

AND YOU WANT TO

• Design, implement, and tune high-performance kernels for PDE solvers on CPU and GPU accelerators
• Profile, benchmark, and iterate using hardware counters and flame graphs
• Collaborate with domain scientists to translate mathematical models into vector-friendly algorithms
• Prototype new approaches in Python and harden them in C++
• Influence architecture decisions related to task-based runtimes, mixed-precision arithmetic, and multi-GPU scheduling
