Job Description

What you’ll do

As the Senior Full-stack Engineer (frontend focus) this is your opportunity to join a team of talented developers, continuing to work with our wider Tech and Product teams and clients.

• You'll work in cross-functional full-stack team which prioritises software craftsmanship.
• This role focuses on the frontend side of things, but as a fullstack engineer you'll also be working on the backend (Node/NestJS) and build tooling.
• An opportunity to learn other part of the tech stack, such as GCP, Terraform, etc.
• Your work will have a real impact on the business and our clients, including Weatherzone, the NRL, and OzBargain.
  
  

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

• Backend experience with Typescript + Node.js.
• We are open to hiring a very talented engineer who has backend experience in another strongly typed language like Java or C# Experience with any of the following technologies is a bonus, but we are willing to train you:
• Vue.JS / React.JS experience, or other frontend framework.
• Nest.JS
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Cloudformation)
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc)
• CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, Github Actions, Jenkins, etc)
