Software Engineer

Role: Freelance Software Engineer

Location: Berlin

Hourly Rate: €40-€50

About the Company - Our client is a small, fast-growing software development team working remotely, developing new SaaS products used by millions of people around the world.

About the Role -

• Fully remote
• Develop new web applications and enhance existing ones using TypeScript
• Understand and manage assigned tasks from project management software (Linear) across multiple projects and work on them independently
• Work closely with the product designer to develop new features
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose how to integrate them into the projects

Required Skills

• A growth mindset with a constant eagerness to learn and explore new technologies.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately convert designs from Figma into code.
• Proven experience in developing full-stack web applications using React.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and ideally Prisma, tRPC, Drizzle, and the Next.js App Router.
• Familiar with Linear, Figma, GitHub or similar project management, design and version control tools.
• Experience with popular APIs such as Stripe and third-party platforms like Clerk is a plus.
