Enterprise Architect

Do you have 5+ years of experience as an enterprise architect? We are looking for a new colleague to join our team in Belgium.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an enterprise architect
• Proficiency in popular enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or others.
• Deep understanding of Microservices Architecture, including distributed systems, service decomposition, and domain-driven design (DDD).
• Proficiency in container-based solutions (Kubernetes), Docker, and containerised workloads for deploying microservices at scale.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, ServiceNow).
• Understanding of asynchronous messaging patterns, Kafka, and event sourcing for Event-driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of service mesh frameworks and their role in traffic management and security for Service Mesh Architecture.
• Understanding of middleware technologies and their role in integrating different components of an IT architecture deployed in hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of API design principles and experience in managing APIs for efficient system integration.
• Knowledge of information system security principles and the ability to design secure systems and infrastructure for Security Architecture.
• Familiarity with programming languages and development practices (e.g., JEE, .NET, JavaScript) to understand application development processes.
• Awareness of emerging technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML).

Job Description:

• Devise and/or update the designs related to ICT solutions subject to the delivery stream domain and scope.
• Perform market analysis and/or proof of concept work to validate intended designs and/or identify suitable technologies and products for the purpose of the delivery stream domain and scope.
• Follow up on implementation of approved designs with ICT Engineering and Operations teams.
• Help clarify open points and steer the implementation to success wherever needed, providing design knowledge expertise.
