Cyber Security Analyst (m/w/d) – SOC & Splunk Specialist

Ready to level up your security career? Our client is an international bank based just outside of Munich who are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join their Security Operations Center (SOC) team and help protect critical banking infrastructure.

You’ll be at the heart of our client’s defenses, designing and tuning SIEM use-cases, investigating advanced threats and ensuring rapid, effective incident response. Every alert you handle and every data source you onboard makes the bank, and its customers, safer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize and maintain SIEM/SOC use cases in Splunk (or similar)

• Onboard new data feeds into the SIEM platform

• Analyze and remediate Level 3 security alerts and incidents

• Collaborate with service providers to manage the SIEM infrastructure

• Implement and refine security controls and processes

Must-have Skills & Experience

• 3+ years in an SOC role, with proven experience in complex alert analysis

• Hands-on Splunk configuration and administration (Splunk Certified Enterprise Admin is a plus)

• Deep understanding of network architectures, security protocols and IR best practices

• Familiarity with Linux environments

• Strong communication skills in German and English
