Senior AI Engineer – Remote – Greenfield projects with real impact

Day Rate: €400 – €450 DOE

We’re hiring an AI Engineer for a rapidly growing organization delivering cutting-edge technology solutions within their industry. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful, greenfield projects where you will gain experience delivering an end to end project while also having an input to decision-making.

This is a fully remote position which will give you an excellent work life balance and flexibility to support life outside of the workplace.

In this hands-on, technical role, you'll be responsible for developing proof-of-concept solutions across a variety of initiatives. You'll work with a modern tech stack, including Python, PyTorch, GCP, and Docker, in a collaborative and forward-thinking engineering team.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in AI/ML engineering, a working knowledge of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), and a passion for delivering innovative, data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build AI/ML proof-of-concept solutions based on business needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects
• Work within a modern stack: Python, PyTorch, GCP, Docker, and related tools
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and knowledge-sharing

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proven track record of delivering proof-of-concept projects
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Other:

• Day Rate: €400 – €450 DOE
• Location: Remote (Candidates must be currently located in Ireland)
• Initial contract with strong potential for extension
