IT Security Officer – Dublin

They are currently seeking an experienced IT Security Officer to join their growing IT Security Team, reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data
  • Identify and define system security requirements
  • Design security architecture and develop detailed cybersecurity solutions
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
  • Actively participate in security incident management, including chairing meetings to address current and potential threats
  • Write comprehensive reports including findings, outcomes, and recommendations for improving system security
  • Support security awareness initiatives by delivering training, creating materials, and presenting to senior management and at company town halls


About You:

  • CISSP or CISM certification required; additional security qualifications (e.g. Azure/O365) a strong advantage
  • Proven experience as a Security Engineer or Information Security Architect in a regulated environment
  • Strong knowledge and operational experience with Azure/O365 security
  • Experience with email security tools, data classification, and DLP (Data Loss Prevention) technologies
  • Familiarity with web-related technologies (e.g. Web Applications, Web Services, SOA) and network/web protocols
  • Skilled in designing, building, and maintaining security systems
  • Solid technical understanding of database and operating system security
  • Scripting experience in a Windows environment is an advantage
  • Up-to-date knowledge of security principles, practices, and protocols
  • Familiarity with PCI compliance, EIOPA regulations, and DORA regulations
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers hosting or managing infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO27001, COBIT, or similar


Package:

€85,000–€90,000 DOE (Depending on Experience)
